Pastor Kim Swenson began her ministry at Bethel in July of 2021. Prior to Bethel, she served congregations in Berkeley, CA and Dysart, IA. She graduated with a MA from Wartburg Theological Seminary and a MDiv from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary. She enjoys creating meaningful worship experiences, leading the many Bible Studies, and making Aebleskivers. Pastor Kim likes to bake and cook, has many unfinished craft projects, and is a voracious reader who owns more books than she could ever read. She loves to travel to new places, near and far. Pastor Kim lives with Malik, her teenage football and basketball loving, new driving, teenage son, Apollo, a pillow eating dog, Svetty, an active, middle-aged, Russian tortoise, and Rosee, a curious and adventurous cat.
